TC Media Channel 22
TC Media Channel 22 highlighting Citizens’ Climate Lobby’s Congressional Education Day in DC, plus an interview with veteran skier Stuart Chisholm about snow skiing in the age of climate change. Also shown on YouTube.
Ed Ericsson attended the Citizens’ Climate Lobby’s Congressional Education Day in Washington DC on Nov. 13th to work with CCL members from around the globe, where he interviewed two veteran citizen lobbyists.
Ed also talked with Olympia CCL member Stuart Chisholm about snow skiing in the age of climate change, the actions some ski resorts are taking to reduce their carbon footprint, and using a new permanent wax for skis and snowboards, called “Phantom,” which stems the shedding of fluorocarbons off of the bases which would otherwise end up in the water shed every year.
Change the Climate is an episodic series of 20 to 30-minute pre-recorded talk show format programs focusing on the challenge of climate change and the positive actions being taken to counter it by various individuals and groups in and around Thurston County, Washington.
Change the Climate is produced by Ed Ericsson from the Olympia Chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL). The program will inform and inspire viewers to understand and take up the challenge that comes with the earth’s changing atmospheric climate and join with CCL in the efforts being taken to influence those in positions of power to act.
