Join us in Bellevue for an interfaith ceremony and invite PSE to join us in future dialogues with the community about their plans to swap coal for fracked gas and build a liquified natural gas facility in Tacoma. PSE’s 20-year plan reveals that PSE intends to lock us into fossil fuels for another 2 decades, swapping coal for fracked gas.
This is unsustainable for our planet!
In addition, the company is building a liquified natural gas plant on the edge of the Puyallup tribal lands, which the tribe opposes, and it lacks a permit. We would like to see PSE change direction on both these issues.
We will hold an interfaith ceremony. We are coming together as one human family fulfilling our sacred promises to care for and protect all life put here before us: trees, animals, water and humans. We will bring an invitation for PSE to join us in future dialogues with the community about their plans. We also will be making a circle and we need everyone of you in this circle. We welcome and encourage participation from all who wish to take action on climate.
